Observations During Construction
Observations during construction is a critical factor in any type of new construction. Kipcon staff will perform visual observations of a project during its construction phase to identify areas of the contractor’s work that are not in general conformance with the plans and specifications. Our observations during construction report will list all issues identified and include photo documentation. If necessary, we can also provide remedial designs and track change orders. In addition, Kipcon can track open issues until resolved, documenting all repairs and/or decisions in a written report with photos.
Kipcon is recognized by most insurance companies as an expert in the inspection field, which can result in reduced premiums in certain instances. Kipcon’s inspection services are also used by banks to document drawdown’s of construction loans based upon the actual percentage of work completed as compared to the drawdown request.
